Biography

Grace Ingya is a passionate social entrepreneur and skilled media expert committed to leadership development and mental health advocacy. She’s currently working on a promising initiative aimed at supporting individuals with traumatic experiences. The project focuses on equipping them with the tools, resources, and emotional support needed to heal, grow, and build their lives. 

Through community workshops, counselling sessions, and peer support groups, the initiative seeks to create safe and inclusive spaces where individuals can share, connect, and find healing. Grace is particularly focused on ensuring that mental health conversations are accessible and relatable, especially at the grassroots level. 

In addition, she’s harnessing the power of the media to amplify these important messages, challenge harmful stigmas, and engage a broader audience in conversations around trauma, healing, and mental wellness. 

She’s a proud alumnus of the Power Shift Africa Fellowship Cohort 1 and currently serves as the team lead of the Media and Advocacy work group. 

Grace Ingya continues to make meaningful strides in creating a more compassionate and mentally resilient society using both media and community engagement as her driving forces.
