Our Pledge

I pledge to deal with my biases in relating with others,
That we may always work and walk in unity and faith,
To pursue peace and progress.

Though I might be hurt,
I choose to look forward to the goals set ahead,
With a renewed mindset driving change for a better Africa,
Together, for the Good of humanity.

I pledge to move with one purpose,
Irrespective of our ethnic or religious affiliations.
I pledge to unity despite our differences,
Not allowing my fears or speculations to define me.

I will leverage our strength and potential as youth
Though our cultures and voices may differ,
We march side by side, with renewed minds,
For a better tomorrow.

I won’t wait for change—I will be the change.
I will not faint—I will take action.
And like fire we will spread,
like lions we will rule and like eagles we soar
