CampusFix Initiatives

Nigeria’s universities hold over 2 million students, representing the most vibrant and intelligent segment of the population. Yet, leadership development within campuses is often limited to politics, not purpose, resulting in a generation of graduates with potential but little preparation for national transformation.

Youth apathy, corruption, and poor civic engagement have deep roots in this leadership gap. To change the nation, leadership culture must be intentionally shaped where values are still forming, on campuses.

Power Shift Africa has a track record of youth empowerment and civic engagement across Nigeria. This initiative builds on that foundation, focusing on practical leadership development, mentorship, and innovation as catalysts for national renewal.

CampusFix is a student-led initiative of Power Shift Africa aimed at fostering political engagement and activism within universities and tertiary institutions. The program will empower students to become proactive advocates for change on their campuses and beyond, ensuring that young voices remain at the forefront of societal transformation.

Through structured training, mentorship and active engagement, CampusFix will serve as an incubator for a new generation of socially conscious and politically active changemakers.

Program Pillar: CampusFix Changemakers Bootcamp

The CampusFix Changemakers Bootcamp will be the flagship entry point for the initiative. It will be a 4-week intensive training program that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for effective activism, advocacy and leadership.

Upon completion, graduates will transition into the CampusFix Alumni Network, Creating a sustainable platform for continued collaboration, advocacy and impact

"Everybody can be great … because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love."
