Mercy Benson is a dynamic storyteller, media personality, and gender advocate, passionate about amplifying youth voices and driving social change across Africa. She currently serves as the Podcast Lead at PowerShift Africa, where she channels her skills in public speaking, content creation, and audio storytelling to spotlight critical conversations on building a better Africa through collective action, leadership and service.

Mercy is the Past President of the Rotaract Club of Umungasi Aba and currently the district chair on membership, the first female Chief Judge of Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, and the Delta State Lead for CONNECTED DEVELOPMENT (CODE).

A trained public health professional, civil servant, and mentor to teenage girls, she brings a rich blend of leadership, creativity, and advocacy to every platform she touches.

Mercy is also skilled in photography, videography, and event hosting, making her a truly multifaceted changemaker.
